A beautiful park created with gardens, paved paths, stairs, terraces, and benches under the shade of pine trees, but what gives awesome beauty to this place, are the panoramic views in the sea area, the city of Chania, and the whole region. This place is an ideal destination for a romantic walk at the sunset with a breathtaking view.

Next to the Tombs of Venizelos there is also the stone statue of Liberty that symbolizes the struggles of the people of Crete for the idea of freedom, while at the same place is placed the statue of Spyros Kayaledakis or Kayale, who went down in history when on 9 In February 1897 he made his body mast to raise the Greek flag when the shells of the Italians fell on Akrotiri forcing them to stop the bombing in recognition of his heroic act.
